A Look Back at Lockdown in South Africa - Days 13 & 14
Entries from my Covid 19 Pandemic Lockdown Journal:
9 April 2020
Day 13 and 14 of SA 🔒⬇️
Two days filled with the flurry of online work at home, university studies online,
and chores! But the semester is now at an end, Nic has the Easter weekend
off from work, and we all really need the break.
* I am excited to see my peas sprouting up through the ground!
* Madison was very happy to receive a final mark on her 12-page academic essay for
her English Research and Writing class! A resounding 99%. Well done!
* We made some chocolate-covered bunny bottoms today.
They are yummy...and not overly sweet.

* I added a sign yesterday to our Easter decor - " Hear Him"
and today I changed it to "Gethsemane" -
a visual reminder of the sacredness of these days.
* We had a simple Passover meal before we began our fast. All homemade from scratch.

* Our President has announced an extension to our original 21-day lockdown.
So, it will continue until 30 April...an extra 14 days.
I can completely understand why it needs to be done.
My heart goes out to everyone during this time.
I know that this is really hard for so many people. ❤
